One day we got curious to know how a soap bubble would appear under a light optical microscope. The images here shows fine structures at the bubble surface which were difficult to photograph due to rapid movements of the structures. These movements were too rapid to be captured from a freshly made soap bubble. The images here were recorded some time after the bubble was made and when the black film (probably the black areas in the images) started to appear. The images were capture in brief moments were the random movements of the fine structures almost stopped.
